Eleven of us went to the Ethics Symposium this evening. I was proud of the students and how they conducted themselves. The speaker was interesting and easy to listen to. We learned about right to die/allowing someone to die issues and the development of technology. Because a presentation will be made in class, I will reserve any lengthy indication of content. Watch for posts from class members about the event. Hats off to all involved.

Those of you who were in class today know that it was not my smoothest effort. As I said, though, I consider it a wasted day if I have not had a chance to learn something new. Since I learned that the C 284 computer lab has no internet connection, I guess at least it wasn’t a wasted day.
